Veteran go-to-market strategist to drive all global sales and channel expansion for threat attribution innovator
VICTORIA, British Columbia - September 4, 2020 — HYAS, a leader in threat intelligence, adversary infrastructure, and attribution, today announced the appointment of noted technology go-to-market sales leader, Jonathan Candee, as Senior Vice President for Global Sales. Candee will lead all of HYAS’s global sales and support efforts as well as expanded partnership initiatives to scale the team, organization and processes needed to accelerate enterprise sales and channel opportunities with VAR/Solution Providers, distributors, MSSPs, consultants and technology alliances.
Candee has over 20 years experience driving revenue growth and scaling organizations in the internet technology arena. Most recently, as Group Vice President of Enterprise Verticals, he led efforts at SaaS innovator Fastly, where Candee spent five years helping to scale Fastly from Series B into a successful IPO.
"I'm thrilled by this opportunity to help propel HYAS’s sales momentum in a space that's rapidly transforming beyond the limitations of conventional threat intelligence and network security," Candee said.. "Security teams are being tasked with managing a broader attack surface and countering more frequent attacks. This is a perfect storm of the right solution at a critical time in the market and I look forward to scaling a sales and support organization to help enterprises protect their infrastructure and understand the adversaries behind cyber attacks."
HYAS has successfully helped enterprises around the world defend and counter cyber attacks and fraud, with one public example documented by Brian Krebs in his article on the Kasbah attackers (https://krebsonsecurity.com/2020/03/french-firms-rocked-by-kasbah-hacker/).
The HYAS portfolio of solutions identifies the infrastructure used in cyber attacks and the adversaries behind the attacks. HYAS Insight helps enterprise security operations center (SOC) and fraud teams investigate and attribute attacks. HYAS Protect provides organizations with preemptive security against existing and emerging attacks by blocking infrastructure used by adversaries for malware and ransomware command and control as well as phishing attacks. HYAS also provides intelligence services to help enterprises accelerate their investigation efforts.
”We are thrilled to have someone of Jonathan’s caliber, commitment, and experience as part of the HYAS team,” said HYAS CEO David Ratner. “His experience in scaling enterprise sales organizations will help HYAS capitalize on our innovative threat attribution technology and help enterprises counter pernicious cyber threats. ”
HYAS, a First Nations word meaning “great and powerful,” is the world’s leading authority on pre-zero-day cybersecurity risk. HYAS provides the industry’s first security solution that integrates into existing security frameworks and enables enterprises to detect and mitigate cyber risks before attacks happen and identify the adversaries behind them. Threat and fraud response teams use HYAS to hunt, find, and identify adversaries, often down to their physical doorsteps. With HYAS, enterprises are able to adopt a more proactive and adaptive security posture and protect against both known and not-yet-launched attacks, identifying the adversaries targeting their organizations and the infrastructure used to launch their attacks.
